2020 was a time of social upheaval in the United States, as the murder of George Floyd rocked society. This historic turning point shed a spotlight on racial disparities and business leaders faced societal issues affecting their colleagues, customers, and communities.
In June 2020, a group of CEOs agreed companies could create sustainable societal change and address racial inequities. From this, CEO Action for Racial Equity (CEOARE) was born – a Fellowship that brings together top talent and resources to advance public policies and corporate engagement strategies to address systemic racism, social injustice, and improve societal well-being. With diverse talent spanning industries and professions, CEOARE is a first-of-its kind force for action.
